Our Story
In early 2018 photographer Jennifer Casey, who had studio space at Circle Creatives owned by Chuck Walsh, conceived the idea of Prism Annapolis in the old rug cleaning building next door. Jen was its creative force and partnered with Mr. Walsh to bring Prism to life and she oversaw Prism for its first crucial year and a half of operation.
The home of Prism originally had been the city’s primary rug cleaning facility operating in a high ceiling, large industrial building for over 50 years. On its closing in 2005, and with the establishment of the city’s Arts District the building became artist space, then a live performance theater, and now the unique venue Prism Annapolis.
